Library Hugs

I am in Colorado visiting my Granmda and Grandpa Smith right now. I am having so much fun playing with everyone! Today, my mommy and I went to Library story time. I had a great time. We read stories and sang songs, just like we do at our library! At the end of Story Time, our teacher had a big toy bear and told us that we could give the bear hugs as we went bye-bye. I must have misunderstood because I went up and wanted to give all of the kids hugs. I'm just so social! Everyone laughed as I hugged the kids and then I laughed too. Then I gave the bear a hug. I'm too darn cute.

Fish!

I am a fish! I've always liked swimming, but I'm getting so good at it now. Must be this fancy inner tube shirt from Singapore. I could swim all by myself. Today at the hotel swimming pool I would climb up the ladder, then jump in to my mommy. I went under so many times and I was such a big girl! My mommy and daddy were so proud of me!

Great Deals!

My mom was looking through the ads for some good deals on groceries today. I decided to help her. I figured it would be easier for us to see them if I layed them out across the whole room. Job well done. You're welcome, Mom!

First Day of Joy School

Today was my first day of Joy School! My mom taught, so all of my friends got to come and play at my house! I had so much fun! We learned about the color blue. We got to read a book, march on a blue blanket, sort blue toys, and eat blue snacks like jello and m&m's. Boy, I hope I get to go to Joy School again tomorrow!

Setting The Table

While mommy was making dinner she asked me to set the table. I got all of my dishes from the dishwasher and took them over to the end table in the family room. She was very impressed. I'm such a good helper.

Fridge Patrol

I am the fridge patrol. Every time my mom opens the fridge, I HAVE to be right there and check out everything that is within my reach. Sometimes my mom tries to only open the door wide enough to get her arm in and pull things out. I'm not sure why she does this. It's almost like she doesn't want me in the fridge for some strange reason. Oh well, maybe soon I'll be able to open the fridge myself! Haha! Watch out Mom!

4 Hour Nap

No joke. Today I took a four hour nap. I was SLEEPY! What tired me out enough to make me sleep from 12:30 to 4:30 today?

1. Well, last night I stayed up late playing with Uncle Curt, Aunt Holly, and Tucker.

2. Church wore me out today. I was so busy running around

with all of the kids. They all wanted to hold me and play with me.

3. I think I'm getting sick. I have a runny nose and the sneezies!

I feel so much better after my nap. I love a good nap.

Mommy's New Haircut

Today I got to play at my friend Jackson's house while his mommy cut my mommy's hair. I had so much fun! Jackson let me play with his cars and his cell phones! Then we chased each other up the stairs. We got to eat a snack together too. His mommy gave me candy corns, and I sure love those treats! When we got home, my mom made me take pictures with her and her new haircut. Here are some pictures of us being silly!

My First Prayer

Today I said my first prayer! Let me tell you how it happened. We were all sitting down for dinner. After my mom put my bib on, I folded my arms and started talking really low and quiet while looking down. I just babbled for about 30 seconds while my mom and dad just looked at me. When I was done, I unfolded my arms and looked up! They were so proud of me, but they were laughing too. I guess I'm just really cute when I say the prayer.

The New Cleaning Lady

I love to clean. While Mommy was cleaning yesterday, she gave me a Clorox wipe, and I cleaned my chair for fifteen minutes! She was so proud of me!

I'm Me!

I have my daddy's eyes and my mommy's nose.

I have my Grandma Nette's compassion and my Granpda Rob's sense of humor.

I have my Grandma Chris's toes and my Grandpa Mike's good looks.

I'm a little bit of everyone, but I'm still me!

Hep!

My mom and dad have been teaching me to say the word "help" when I want to get into my playroom. They don't like it when I whine. So, today I ran to my playroom door and said, "Hep!" They were so excited and proud of me. They gave me big hugs and kisses and told me I said my first word! I speak English!

I love to see the Temple

Goodbye Joshua

One of my very first friends is moving away. His name is Joshua, he is 6 months older than me. I will miss playing with him. Here we are with Jackson at his goodbye lunch. I'll miss you, Joshua!

Wow! What a fun holiday! I got to eat breakfast in the car, sit on the side of a street and have people throw candy at me, eat candy, play with my cousins, go swimming, and stay up way too late. I love this holiday! When is the next 4th of July?

Grandpa threw us a big party, I'm not sure what it was for, but I got to fly to Houston with mommy and daddy. My cousins were all there too! I got to meet my cousin Keely for the very first time! I had so much fun swimming, playing, and sightseeing. Now that I'm home, I miss my cousins and grandma and grandpa. Mommy says that my Grandma Nett and Grandpa Rob are moving very far away to Singapore. I wish they lived closer to me.

Sleepy

I am so cute when I sleep. Sometimes Mommy and Daddy sneak in to look at me when I'm sleeping. I love my blankies and I like to sleep in weird positions. Bedtime is one of my favorite times of day. Mommy is so happy that I am such a great sleeper.

Now That I'm One

When I was none, my mommy and daddy carried me everywhere.

When I was none, I slept almost all day long.

Now that I'm one, I take naps and then I get to play!

Silly Balloon!

Today we went to a store and they gave me a balloon! I was so excited! I played with the balloon the whole way home. When we got home, I went to play upstairs in my room. My balloon was following me everywhere I went. I didn't know what was going on, and then my mom showed me that my balloon was stuck in my toasies! I'm a silly girl!
